GQVPN Help Center
Troubleshoot directly by category, from accounts and subscriptions to connections, routes, and refunds. Start with the symptoms, then change one setting at a time to identify the cause more easily.
Accounts & Subscriptions
Your account stores purchase records and subscription access. When a configuration needs updating, retrieve it again from the user panel instead of keeping an old link for too long.
What do I need to register for GQVPN?
No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password, and store both in a trusted password manager so you can recover your account details after changing browsers or clearing local data. After registration, use the user panel to view plans, get the client, and manage your subscription.
Where can I get and update my subscription link?
Sign in to the user panel and find your current subscription details in the subscription section. To update it, first delete or disable the old configuration in your client, then retrieve the subscription from the panel and import it again. Repeatedly clicking Connect on the old configuration usually will not sync route changes; fetching the subscription again is more reliable.
Do I need to buy a new plan when I change devices?
No. Changing devices does not require another purchase. GQVPN supports unlimited simultaneous devices, so the same account can import the subscription on your usual devices. When switching devices, simply get the client and current subscription from the user panel. Remove saved configurations from devices you no longer use.
Which operating systems support GQVPN?
Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux are supported. Client access is provided through the user panel; this static help page does not offer direct installer links. After signing in, open the client download page, choose your operating system, and import the subscription as instructed to avoid using the wrong platform version or an outdated configuration.
Connections & Issues
When troubleshooting connection problems, check the local network first, then review the subscription and client. Separating network issues from route issues usually avoids unnecessary troubleshooting steps.
Why can't I connect after importing the subscription?
First confirm that the current network can open commonly used websites. Then return to the client, update the subscription, and try another route. If no route connects, fully quit and reopen the client, and check that system network permissions are enabled. If the issue persists, submit a ticket with your operating system, network type, and the client's exact error message.
Why is only one app not using the proxy?
The client may be using split-tunneling rules that classify the app's traffic as direct, or the app may use a separate network process not covered by the current rules. Temporarily switch to Global mode for comparison. If Global mode works, the issue is usually in the split-tunneling rules; switch back afterward and adjust the relevant rule.
What should I do if the connection drops after switching from Wi-Fi to another network?
Switching networks can invalidate an existing connection because the underlying network address has changed. Disconnect in the client, confirm that the new network can access websites normally, and reconnect to the required route. If the client remains stuck in its old state, fully quit and reopen it. There is no need to buy another plan or create a new account.
The client says it is connected, but websites still won't open. How should I troubleshoot this?
A connected status only means the client completed its handshake; it does not guarantee that every request is being forwarded as expected. Test the browser and other apps separately, then switch routes to check whether the issue affects only one route. If only the browser fails, disable its separate proxy settings or extensions and try again. If every app fails, update the subscription and restart the client.
Speed & Routes
Route performance depends on the local network, exit path, destination service, and device state. A single speed test is only a snapshot; sustained stability is more useful when judging everyday performance.
What should I do first when speeds slow down during peak hours?
Pause cloud-drive syncing, system updates, and large file transfers, then switch to another route in the same destination region. Do not judge speed by the route name alone: your local carrier, Wi-Fi signal, congestion at the destination site, and device load also matter. Test the service you actually need instead of relying only on a single speed-test result.
Should I choose a route by region or by name?
Start with the destination region of the service and your access needs. For everyday browsing and work, choose a region with a more direct geographic path. When you need region-specific content, choose the corresponding exit. Route names distinguish entry points and intended uses; they do not guarantee faster performance on every local network. During fluctuations, trying another route in the same destination region usually makes the issue easier to isolate than switching regions repeatedly.
Why is the same route faster or slower on different devices?
The same route only means the exit is the same; conditions between each device and that exit may differ. Wi-Fi signal strength, power-saving settings, background downloads, client settings, and app caches can all affect results. For troubleshooting, connect both devices to the same network, pause background tasks, and test the same destination service to determine whether the difference comes from the device or the route.
What is GQVPN's route coverage?
GQVPN covers 120+ countries / 210+ routes. Available routes depend on the current subscription shown in the user panel. The coverage count provides more regional and path options, but the farthest exit is not always the best choice. A route that matches the destination service and remains stable on the current network is usually more practical.
Billing & Refunds
Monthly plans reset according to the activation date, while data packages decrease as they are used. Consider your usage pattern before comparing allowances; this is usually clearer than comparing price alone.
What monthly plans and data allowances are available?
Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. Consider your typical usage first: office work and light browsing use less data, while HD video, system updates, and large file transfers use it faster. The plans page lists all options together so you can choose after confirming your needs.
Do data packages expire?
Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Options include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They suit users with irregular usage who do not want a monthly data reset. Monthly plans and data packages are measured differently, so decide whether you value a fixed monthly allowance or long-term, on-demand use.
When does monthly data reset, and how is a mid-cycle upgrade handled?
Monthly data resets each month on the activation date rather than being cleared on the first day of a calendar month. For a mid-cycle upgrade, the price difference is prorated based on the remaining days. Use the activation period shown in the user panel when checking usage; do not estimate from the end of the calendar month.
How do I request a refund?
GQVPN offers 30-day refunds. To request one, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with the relevant order and refund request, keeping the order details available for verification. Handle refund requests through tickets in your account rather than posting account information on a public page. You can also describe any connection or usage issue first to help with troubleshooting.
Which payment methods are supported?
Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported. Open the plans page in the user panel, choose the desired option, and view the available payment method. After payment, return to the account page to confirm the order status. If the status has not updated, do not repeatedly create the same order; refresh the order record first, then submit a verification request through a ticket.
Still need help?
When submitting a ticket, include your operating system, the client's exact error message, your current network type, and the steps you have already tried. Complete information makes it easier to skip repeated checks and move straight to identifying the issue.
